Every year Audrey and I look forward to a very special Christmas Tea Party hosted by our friend Mrs. Debbie.
It is special for Audrey and I because we get to spend some Mommy/Daughter time together and Audrey gets to dress up really fancy. It is a magical time for both of us.
Addison isn't quite old enough to attend the tea party at Mrs. Debbie's. In the past, this hasn't been an issue, but this year she was old enough to realize that she was being left behind.
My two precious daughters.
To help Addison's hurt feelings, I took her to the store to pick out special treats and drinks for her to have her own Christmas Tea Party with Grammy, Aunt Carol and Uncle Jim. That certainly brightened her day.
While Addison was enjoying herself, Audrey and I went to Mrs. Debbie's house.
She has a huge "Barbie" ornament tree. This thing is COVERED with Barbie/Princess ornaments. All the little (and big) girls that attend are always in awe of the tree.
They always make a craft when they arrive. This year they made a wooden Christmas tree ornament.
This is Mrs. Nancy with Audrey. She is such a very special lady to our family.
Audrey was so excited about the cookies and coke that they were about to get.
I'm so thrilled that I get to share in this special tradition with Audrey. Hopefully soon Addison can enjoy this time with us.
