This is his space. Once the girls are down for the night, he kicks back in his recliner to watch television. And usually falls asleep right there.

Photography Project/Assignments

This month I am attempting to participate in a photography class/project going on at Willette Designs. It is The Joy of Love, part of her Finding the Joy series.



So, along with my daily normal chaos, I am attempting to work on this assignment. I'm already behind because the hubby and both kiddos have been sickly. Since they are to be part of my subjects, it is kind of difficult to get them to participate. And it is even more challenging to take photos with a super-whiny baby on my hip.

I will get to the assignments, probably somewhat out of order. But stop by to see what moments of JOY and LOVE I can find through the camera lens.

Magnet Madness

She loves spending the majority of her days like this...

Playing with the magnets (given to Audrey for Christmas) on the refrigerator.

I'm so glad she can entertain herself...but it makes me so nervous when she attempts to stand up with those slippery footed pjs on the tile.

Obviously, it doesn't bother her one bit! :)

Of course, we all get a kick out of it too!

I love watching their inquisitive minds at work.



And it certainly helps that it keeps them entertained for quite some time. :)

Masterpiece Blessings

This sweet girl loves to create masterpieces.



And she works very carefully and diligently.

Then insists on giving it away. Usually to her mommy or daddy.

This child has the biggest heart of anyone I know.

New Year's Day 2011

Happy New Year! I'm praying that 2011 will hold as many wonderful moments and blessings as 2010 had for us. What an amazing year! Yes it had its valleys, but so many more miracles and blessings! And I pray that this new year has many blessings in store for my family and friends, too.


This year I am challenging myself to do a little Project Life- my style. I will attempt to take a picture every day or at least a few each week and post about it. I want to do this, not only because I LOVE taking pictures...but because I also want to focus on the "little" blessings in my life daily. And what better way to do that than to have to look for them.



So here goes...
