Outside Fun, Playhouse Progress

Their daddy is working on a fabulous playhouse for these little princesses.  They are helping out with the painting.  They are so excited about being able to play in their playhouse.

I believe they were a little messy with the paint! :)

More playhouse progress photos to come...

Nana's Birthday Party

This lady is one of the most precious women I know.  Anyone who has ever met her can say that she made a tremendous impact on his/her life. She has touched so many hearts during her years.

We were blessed to be able to celebrate another year of life with her.

The older I get, the more I realize what a treasure the older generation is to us younger women.  Especially when you become a mother, their wisdom is priceless.  I am so thankful that my children have the privilege of knowing this kind-hearted, loving, godly woman as their great-grandmother.

This year we chose to celebrate her birthday at the nursing home where Nana now resides.  They were kind enough to allow us to use one of the activity rooms so our family and friends could all be together to celebrate.

Keeley made an AWESOME strawberry cake (one of Nana's favorites).  We went all out with party hats, candles...the whole works!

Nana enjoyed the fun and fellowship.  Audrey and Addison even got her to act a little silly.

Gifts for the birthday girl!

This is 4 generations!

Donald and Linda Scott came to celebrate with us.  They are dear friends (really they are like family) who visit and care for Nana all the time.  Every week they bring her cake, a diet coke and give her a manicure.  What a precious couple!

I'm so glad we got to celebrate this special lady in such a wonderful way!
We love you, Nana!
