Park Playtime

We are loving this wonderful spring weather!

What better way to enjoy it than spending a day with the family at the playground.

Addison has come to love the slide. She wants to slide over and over again.



Audrey is becoming fearless on the playground. She is like a monkey and getting really good at the monkey bars and such. (This makes me so nervous when she does this...I broke my arm doing this very same activity when I was 5 years old. I always get a knot in my stomach when I see her doing this.)



Recently, she has mastered walking on these swinging steps.




We had such a fun time together!

Diaper Duty

I just couldn't resist. She just looked so darn cute running around in her diaper just before bath time.

Addison was feeding Audrey's Lambie a bottle then decided that she would chew on it.

Just Like Daddy

Audrey likes being a helper...and learning to build things...




...just like her daddy.

Building Birdhouses

She loves helping her daddy. So he bought her this little birdhouse kit and some small tools so she could build it. He helped her with the nails and screws a little. But she did a great job.

She did the painting by herself. We just stood by to offer assistance if needed.




It turned out great! And she was so proud!

Family Fishing Fun

Last Thursday we took advantage of the lovely weather and loaded up to spend the day fishing.

We began our fishing trip with a picnic. It is always better fishing on a full tummy!









Then we fished...

And watched (this was Addison's 1st fishing trip)

And fished...

And rested...And played...



And fished...

And enjoyed Fun Dip...

And snacked on Goldfish crackers...

And caught some fish... Audrey caught the first fish!

And fished some more...

Then snagged a few more. Yes, Corey helped her pull this one in. It was a whopper!

Audrey caught the BIGGEST fish!

Addison was mesmerized by the fish. Every time we would reel one in she would yell "Bish", "Bish" and want to touch it. If we didn't let her "pet" the fish she would pitch a fit.

And here is evidence that I did fish, and I caught one! I actually caught my biggest fish ever. (not as big as Audrey's...but big enough :) )

Happy Birthday, Nana!

Last Wednesday, Audrey, Addison and I met Nana, Grammy and Nonnie in Alabaster for a day of shopping and eating.

We surprised Nana by having a little birthday "celebration" for her. Audrey picked out some cupcakes and balloons for her. I think she was quite surprised!

Audrey helped her blow out the candles.

Audrey is her Daddy's little princess. And this proves it...She's riding in her chariot! :)
